What is wordpress?
WordPress (also known as WP or WordPress.org) is a web content management system(CMS). It was originally created as a tool to publish blogs but has evolved to support publishing other web content, including more traditional websites, mailing lists and Internet forum, media galleries, membership sites, learning management systems and online stores. Available as free and open-source software, WordPress is among the most popular content management systems – it was used by 42.8% of the top 10 million websites as of October 2021.
WordPress is written in PHP hypertext preprocessor language and paired with a MySQL or MariaDB database. Features include a plugin architecture and a template system, referred to within WordPress as “Themes”.
To function, WordPress has to be installed on a web server, either as part of an Internet hosting service or on a computer running the WordPress software package.
It is flexible, highly secure (if installed correctly) and it is always the first CMS that developers choose to use to create websites for customers. And customers like it because the website is beautiful and short time to wait (compared from coding) and a lot of features are available for free from over 54000 plugins.

(almost) everything to your customers’ needs.
Flatsome is a WYSIWYG plugin that stands for “What You See is What You Get”, meaning you can customize everything in real-time without writing a single line of code. And get the results as seen immediately. Similar feeling using Dreamweaver in the past, but have more features to play with.
Although Flatsome makes it very customizable to the website. But there is still a limitation in the design because “the widgets” that are written and ready to use are “semi-finished” compared to build a house. We can choose the layout of the house. Able to choose color and mood (mood & tone/color/fonts) all by ourselves. But when it’s time to put down the furniture. We buy what’s already on sale. We probably won’t go into detail to the extent that wanting to design the look of the refrigerator by yourself? Because we do not produce our own refrigerators. It’s the same as using Flatsome.
Can do
- Change all images and text positions.
- Change text color, text size, every position.
- Change Font (typeface) on the web (should not exceed 2
fonts) - Arrange the layout in a grid style as you like.
- Add animation to assemble beautifully, including

Can’t do
- Fixed details within widgets that were very detailed, such as moving the left-right arrows of the slideshow widget to another place instead (Not
possible) - Use very specific features that Flatsome doesn’t offer or no plugins can do, such as gaming systems.
- Place the layout in a way that does not follow the grid. There are elements floating around and overlapping.
- Highly sophisticated parallax scrolling.
An example of a website layout that can’t be made with Flatsome.
- There is a high prevalence in design where various elements are not arranged according to the grid.
- Highly interactive.

- Website that have difficulty function or web-application like Grab.

WooCommerce is a plugin for selling online products (e-Commerce) that is ready to use as soon as it is installed into WordPress. WooCommerce allowing you to open a store immediately.
